Qui a dit qu’éthique et tendance n’étaient pas compatibles ?
Chez Reformation, on conçoit et on produit à Los Angeles dans des locaux responsables et écologiques. La marque est capable de jouer avec les mêmes armes que les marques de Fast Fashion : un vêtements passe de l’état de dessin à celui de produit fini en moins d’un mois car tout se fait sur place, dans le même bâtiment.
Les locaux de Reformation sont une ancienne usine de boulangerie qui a été entièrement réaménagée pour accueillir les studios de créations, studios photos et ateliers de confection de la marque.
L’écologie est également importante dans la conception des vêtements puisque les tissus utilisés sont soit écologiques, soit issus de stocks dormants. Il s’agit également parfois de vêtements vintage retravaillés. Les articles sont donc créés en petites quantités.

When style meets ethic it gives birth to the Reformation
Everything happens in the LA factory : from sketching to shooting to shipping the garments. In an old bakery, the brand built a sustainable sewing factory with design studios as well as shooting studios.
Green is everywhere in the factory with the use of clean energy, recycling, or even organic and sustainable kitchen products.
The choice of the fabrics is also ethically thought : repurposed vintage garment, sustainable fabrics or deadstock fabric are used to make the collections.
In fact Reformation is playing with the same tool as fast-fashion brands : a quick production, multiple collections… The only major difference being that Reformation does it ethically and sustainably ! The chic with an ethic !
