Dans ce second article sur le créateur du mois, Aatise, nous allons nous intéresser aux vêtements et plus particulièrement à la collection de cette saison printemps-été 2018.
Aatise – Le T-shirt compostable
Pour sa première collection, Aatise avait proposé des vêtements aux coupes subtilement rétros et très féminines avec des imprimés souvent fleuris et colorés. Cela ne change pas cette saison puisque la marque nous dévoile des robe portefeuille et des chemisiers en viscose imprimés.
Mais la matière phare de cette saison, c’est le lin. Cette matière qui pousse dans le nord de l’Europe (principalement en France et aux Pays-Bas) est particulièrement écologique. Elle a aussi des propriétés thermo-régulatrice et anti-bactérienne le tout en étant une fibre particulièrement solide.
Ce printemps, chez Aatise, le lin est mis en avant à travers une ligne de T-shirt compostables. Oui, vous avez bien lu.
En effet, les créatrices ont fait le choix d’utiliser des fils de coton pour les coutures plutôt que les fils de polyester habituellement utilisés. Le lin et le coton étant deux matières naturelles, elles peuvent donc se décomposer.
Si la plante est forcément locale, la marque ne s’arrête pas là. La transformation en fil de lin se fait dans le nord de la France puis le tricotage et l’ennoblissement se fait dans un atelier a Pau. 100% made in France donc, du champ jusque dans votre dressing !
Par ailleurs, comme souvent, Aatise propose une campagne de pré-commande pour cette ligne. Les T-shirt sont donc produit après qu’un certain nombres de commandes aient été passé. Ainsi pas de sur-production mais aussi un prix juste car la marque ne passe pas par des intermédiaires.
La marque propose différentes coupes et couleurs pour son T-shirt parfait (3 coupes exactement) : manches longues ou courtes, col bateau ou en V. Que vous soyez casual ou plutôt glamour, vous trouverez forcement votre T-shirt idéal.

Aatise – the compostable T-shirt
For their first collection, Aatise presented a collection of subtly retro and highly feminine clothes with severals floral and colorful patterns. This season will be no exception with floaty dresses and dreamy shirts being part of the new collection.
However, the true star of the moment is linen. This naturally eco-friendly material is mainly cultivated in the North of Europe and more specifically in France and the Netherlands. Linen has thermoregulatory and antibacterial properties while being a strong and durable fabric.
This season, Aatise is using linen for a line of compostable T-shirt. Yes, you read it, compostable.
Instead of the more usual polyester thread, the designers have decided to use cotton for the seams. Cotton and linen being two natural fibres, your T-shirt becomes biodegradable.
If the plant is grown locally, Aatise founders went even further: the linen plant is transformed into thread in the north of France. Then the knitting, finishing and making of the T-shirts is made in France in Pau. 100% made in France from fields to wardrobes.
This line is produced through a system of pre-order which means that the clothes are only produced when a certain number of orders are placed. This way, the label avoids over production and is allowed to offer a fair price (given than there are no midlemen).
The linen T-shirt comes in 3 different shapes and several colors to make sure everyone will find its perfect fit.
