Présentation Indelust
Indelust est né peu après le désastre du Rana Plaza, en 2013. Fondé par Sana Rezwan et Nihar Sait, cette plateforme de vente en ligne propose une mode éthique et responsable, toute droit venue d’Inde.
Indelust est en effet un pionnier dans le domaine, les fondateurs du site souhaitent aider les créateurs et artisans d’Inde. Pour cela, ils travaillent notamment en collaboration avec l’ONG Nest qui s’assure des conditions de travail (et de rémunération) des artisans.
Sur le site, on retrouve bien sûr des vêtements pour hommes, femmes et enfants mais aussi de la décoration intérieure.
Ce qu’on aime chez Indelust : On aime la sélection, à la fois épurée et chic… et finalement assez loin de l’image que l’on pourrait avoir de la mode indienne. On aime également la philosophie du projet, cette envie de faire découvrir des savoir-faire et une culture à travers le travail de jeunes créateurs.
Introducing Indelust
Indelust was born in the aftermath of the Rana Plaza disaster. Brought to life by Sana Rezwan and Nihar Sait, this plateform offers a wide range of clothing, accessories and home design.
The founders of the shop wanted to share the culture and craftsmanship of the Indian subcontinent through a selection of ethically produced goods.
Indelust is working with the NGO Nest to ensure (and improve) the working conditions of the artisans they are working with.
Why we love Indelust: We love the selection of the eshop. The clothes and accessories are both minimalist, chic … and quite far from the Bollywood image we may have had. We also like the philosphy of the project and we admire the passion of Indelust’s founders to share the culture of a continent through the talent of young designers.
